Aluminium Checker Plate (Chequer Plate) Overview
Aluminium Checker Plate is a lightweight, anti-slip, and corrosion-resistant sheet metal with a raised surface pattern — usually diamonds or lines — used for flooring, stairs, ramps, toolboxes, and industrial surfaces.
Standard Sizes (in mm)

Common Aluminium Grades
Grade | Description | Uses |
1050 | Commercially pure, soft, good corrosion resistance | Decorative, light-duty panels |
3003 | Medium strength, excellent corrosion resistance, easy to work with | Toolboxes, cladding |
5052 | Stronger, marine-grade, excellent corrosion resistance, weldable | Marine ramps, steps, wet environments |
5754 | High strength, great for structural use, good corrosion resistance | Trailers, ramps, flooring |
6061 | High strength, heat-treatable, excellent machinability | Structural and industrial applications |
6082 | Structural alloy, good anodizing response, high strength | Platforms, bridges, heavy-duty floors |
Pattern Types
